Emser came to Queen Bat when he was six months old, with cute white whiskers. He was afraid of heights, so on the walk home to Kungsholmen from Söder, we had to carry him over Västerbron bridge.

He was still very much a baby, he ate his Mom's glasses, her new address book, her new purple wallet, and two of her Harry Potter books. One of the dragon paintings that his Mom got in Glastonbury still has a few tooth marks in one corner of the frame.

He's still not really grown up, although now at least he looks like it. Dog shows hasn't been his favorite thing as he was growing, but now at least he is starting to relax and enjoy himself. This is Emser at Borås KC show in July 2006, handled by Therese Hård.

Nowadays, he is just a little giddy when standing on the grooming table. Bridges are ok, stairways are still really scary. Dog shows are fun, because you get to meet all kinds of other doggies - and some of them are GIRLS!

He's getting to be a really handsome gentleman...

This is his favorite place, looking out from the balcony...

Jogging along in Societetsparken!

Of course, lure coursing is among the favorite things to do, and we travel to several trials every summer, to compete with the other afghans.
